Bookings/Scheduling Policy

VoiceTrain is committed to providing you with a quality vocal coaching and music education experience. We are optimizing our scheduling procedures to ensure that the website calendar is up to date and our students get the full lesson time that they are scheduled for, without delay. 

Policy Overview

• Bookings - Lessons are booked when your payment is captured through the bookings page or the student  payment portal. Lessons will only  begin when payment is received. This will mean that if you have not paid, your booking time is still available on the website and can be scheduled by another student.
• Start Times - To avoid schedule overlaps, book lessons will begin within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. If the start time exeeds more than 10 minutes, you will have to reschedule your lesson. A convenience fee of $10 will be added to your student account. If the lesson begins late and is rescheduled by because of  VoiceTrain,  you will be credited $10 to your student account.
• End Times - Lessons will end promptly at the scheduled time. If the students extends the lesson more than 10 minutes past the original booking time, the student account will be charged $15 for the additional time.
• Cancellations - A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. Students accounts will be charged $15 for same -day cancellations which will be due at the time of rescheduling. If the same-day cancellation is done by VoiceTrain, the student account will be issued a $15 credit.
• No-Shows - Once you have paid for and booked your lesson, that time is yours. If you do not show up for your lesson or notify VoiceTrain that you will need to reschedule the lesson, you will forfeit your time. VoiceTrain does not issue refunds.
• Attendance for Monthly Tuition - When tuition is paid monthly it covers the round of lessons consecutively. There is a grace for one of those lessons to be cancelled or rescheduled per month. Any cancellation after the first cancelled lesson will be forfeited. This means that your time will still count as a lesson and the time cannot be refunded or rescheduled without the full booking time of that lesson. If the lesson is rescheduled by VoiceTrain, there will be a credit to the student account for the cost of the booking time of that lesson.
• Gifted Lessons - Gifted bookings cannot be refunded. VoiceTrain will make accommodations to reschedule gifted bookings. If the attended party does not have their lesson within 30 days of the scheduled booking, the time will be forfeited.

It is important to know that when you schedule a lesson, you are purchasing booking time. Our policies will maximize time for VoiceTrain which helps us add value to your time.
